Lauren Gettman started Red Hog Media, with her husband Brett, in 2015 when she saw a new visual trend sweeping across the country. With her background in real estate—first as a realtor and then as the listing and marketing coordinator for the #1 team in Idaho—she recognized the importance of professional real estate photography and marketing. This background provided Lauren with a deep understanding for what listings need, allowing her to position agents for success. Since then, she's expanded the business to offer full-services including videos, photos, drones, 360 tours, SEO tips for realtors, and more.
In July of 2019, Lauren and her family relocated to Gilbert, Arizona from Coeur d'Alene, Idaho and opened Red HogMedia Az. Idaho will always be where Red Hog Media started, but she is thrilled to be continuing the brand now in Arizona and proving the same great quality and service that North Idaho continues to offer.
While the industry is constantly evolving and growing, she takes pride to stay up-to-date on the newest technology and trends by attending several professional real estate photography workshops a year as well as being a member of several Realtor Associations and Women's Council of Realtors.
When Lauren isn’t getting beauty shots that sell homes, she loves traveling with her family. Along with their two daughters, Brett and her love to go somewhere new each year to get a better taste of the world and experience what it’s like to live in someone else’s shoes, of course with a camera in hand!
Brett Gettman started taking professional photographs in 1987, helping with his dad’s wedding photography business. In college, this skill grew to include video when he worked in broadcast media as a camera operator and sports news reporter. After he got his pilot’s license in 2006, it further evolved with a desire to record his flights which required him to learn how to edit, leading him to develop his concise and compelling visual style.
Brett was an active real estate agent for over a decade and saw a clear connection between digital media and being competitive in the market. Now, with his real estate experience, along with a degree in Communication Advertising, he has an expert understanding of what goes into selling a property and how Red Hog Media fits into the equation. This combined expertise ultimately helps his clients achieve their goals. This career allows Brett to take his passion for helping businesses and combines it with his love of photography and video.
When Brett isn’t working, he’s coaching his daughters’ various sports teams, which reinforces the importance of small details and teamwork. Both these aspects of coaching overlap with his business, which is why Brett is so good at it!
Conrad Nelson is a photographer at Red Hog Media. A creator at heart, he began shooting photographs and film in 1989 and hasn’t looked back. The trajectory of his career path makes sense considering he grew up in the industry, watching his family run a photo lab they also owned through the mid-80s and 90s.
He loves the freedom and creativity inherently found in this business and understands there are many ways to approach a project. Conrad’s nature drives him to be in the middle of the action and not tied to a desk, so getting out and building relationships with clients is a huge bonus for him. These factors influence and push him to provide excellent representations of homes, capturing the beauty of each property with a smile.
When Conrad isn't making homes look their best, he is busy building his YouTube channel and visiting the Imperial Sand Dunes Recreation Area. He loves exploring local off road trails in UTVs with his friends/family.
